Bio: Julian joined the steel center in August of 2014. He graduated with a B.S. from Northwestern University in 2005 in the Material Science and Engineering Department and a M.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009 also in the Materials Science and Engineering department. Julian also worked for five years as a staff scientist at Idaho National Lab and mainly did research in high temperature mechanical properties of nickel-based superalloys and some pressure vessel steels.
