Bio: Adira joined the Steel Center after completing a M.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with the Center for Advanced Non-Ferrous Structural Alloys at the Colorado School of Mines. Prior to this, they graduated with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their work focuses on improving dynamic impact properties in plate steel through the quenching and partitioning process.
