Bio: Nathen joined the Steel Center after working at USS-POSCO Industries as a Quality Engineer for continuously annealed and coated sheet products. Prior to this, he earned a B.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in May of 2018. His current work investigates the dissolution behavior of microalloying precipitates during reheating prior to forging and comparing induction heating rates to typical furnace heating.
