Technical Areas of Focus and Background

I am a postdoctoral researcher working on two projects:

1. Correlating the hydrogen embrittlement behavior of steels after electrochemical and gaseous charging by comparing their effects.

2. Developing low-alloy steel microstructures using heat treatments and thermomechanical processing for improved hydrogen embrittlement resistance.

 Previously, I worked as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester, focusing on environmentally assisted cracking of austenitic stainless steels in pressurized water reactor environments. My work involved extensive microstructural characterization using advanced electron microscopy techniques and mechanical testing of materials under hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion cracking conditions.
