Bio: Malachi joined the steel center after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in May of 2024 with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. As an undergraduate Malachi was involved in research related to cracking in as-cast AHSS and ferrous matric cubic boron nitride composites. His work is focused on studying the properties of bar steels that form bainitic structures from continuous cooling after hot work.
