Bio: Emma joined the Steel Center after graduating from Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in May 2023. While an undergraduate she was an undergraduate researcher in the Steel Center and completed an internship with Nucor Steel Arkansas. Her work aims to understand how CO2 streams for carbon capture utilization and storage along with microstructure of the steel influence the corrosion response of pipeline steels and welds.
