Bio: Andy joined the ASPPRC after graduating from the University of Virginia in May of 2022 with a BS in Civil Engineering. His research involves examining microstructural features of the base metal that may affect the fracture toughness of medium- to high-strength pipeline steels when exposed to hydrogen.
